Description
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse sits at the top of a small hill on the north side of the Jupiter Inlet, surrounded by pines, palms, and other trees against the backdrop of a blue sky with scattered clouds.
The original lens was a first order Fresnel lens and had a range of about 25 nautical miles.
The Lighthouse was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It is now part of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum.
