Description
This image of one of the buildings at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida, shows the Mediterranean Revival architectural style that was used as a model for other buildings in this winter resort town to draw the wealthy and prominent in the 1920's.
Coral Gables was envisioned by George Merrick to be the "Mediterranean Riviera" and draw the wealthy and prominent in the 1920's.
See other examples of Coral Gables architecture at my Coral Gables gallery which includes the Alhambra Water Tower and the Country Club of Coral Gables, among others.
Note: This image does not have a model or property release.
