Description

This is a sand and water abstract of the beach on the inlet side of the breakwaters that protect Murrels Inlet from the Atlantic Ocean at Long Bay, with Huntington Beach State Park on the other side of the inlet. The inlet leads into Oaks Creek and Main Creek behind a finger of land, which includes this beach at Murrels Inlet in Georgetown County, just a few miles south of Myrtle Beach and very near the many dozens of fine South Carolina golf courses.
